“Nourishing the human body with pure, living food allows it to blossom and open into a pure form of yoga.”
- Eileen Wieder Crone
Eileen Wieder Crone became a Living on Live Food Teacher in 2009, after making the leap from a vegan diet to a raw, living diet. In June, 2010, Eileen completed the Benefits of Raw Food Nutrition Certificate Course at Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Fort Bragg, California. She’s been teaching yoga since 2004 and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the 500-hour level. She’s passionate about both food and yoga. Eating raw, living vegan foods allows the body to have energy, flexibility and resiliency.
“I practiced yoga postures for several years, making slow progress on my yoga journey, but one month after eating only uncooked foods, I saw such gains in my ability to move into poses like padmasana (lotus) and hanumanasana (splits) that I never thought possible. I am so excited.”
Eileen wants to be able to share her excitement with others, by teaching raw foods nutrition classes as well as vinyasa and ashtanga yoga classes. Eating a raw diet for yoga is just the first step in attaining high-level wellness and longevity.
I hope to see you in a class soon!
